Happy Anniversary!

Today, Kody and I have been married 3 sweet years. It’s easy to say crazy how time flies, and it really has…but for some reason our wedding seems like forever ago.

It was a BEAUTIFUL day out, much like today, just a little cooler and less wind. I got my hair done, make up done, and then we got ready and met for pictures. Kody and I did a first look, where we did see each other before the ceremony. I’m glad we did that looking back, we had ALL pictures done before the ceremony started…therefore we were able to just party afterwards!

Here are just a few of my favorite pictures from the best day of my life so far. The leaves were literally on fire the year we got married. It was definitely a peak day for them. You can see by the pictures. I said just a few but I can never pick and choose.K-M-10277 K-M-10282 K-M-10315 K-M-10347 K-M-10387 K-M-10395 K-M-10410 K-M-10118a K-M-10169 K-M-10179 K-M-10181 K-M-10231 K-M-10015 K-M-10032 K-M-10039 K-M-10048 K-M-10057 K-M-10059 K-M-10066 K-M-10074 K-M-10089 K-M-10094 K-M-10103 K-M-10104 K-M-10107 K-M-10111

This 3rd year has probably been the most challenging so far for our marriage. God has tested us and we’ve pushed through. I know this won’t even touch what we’ll go through throughout our lifetime, but it makes you appreciate each other and the special times so much more.

I can’t think of anyone else I’d rather wake up next to each day thank KT. He’s my rock. I hope this year is our best yet, it’s bound to be full of adventure.

Happy Anniversary, KT. XO. So proud of the man you’ve become.

Fall Picture Sneak Peak

Kody and I had our pictures made last night. We haven’t had professional shots of the two of us alone since we got married. It was due time. He didn’t want to have them done because I have a nice camera, but I never have anyone to take ours. So we went for it and it was a fundraiser for a little girl with cancer! Win-Win!

Here’s two she posted today. I love them. You can’t even tell he wasn’t happy to be there. ;)

I love leopard and have so much of it so it had to be in one of the pictures to remember this time in our life. Hopefully I’ll see more soon! :)

If you are interested in helping the Turner family out, please visit Jenna’s Journey as she has a whole post dedicated to this.

May God bless the Turner family with strength and courage to get through today and the days, weeks, and months ahead.

Pray for the Turner Family

Since I started blogging I have followed Julee Turner. When I first started reading she wrote a lot about their sweet dog Romeo. Then I realized her and her husband were going through infertility. That's when I felt a connection. I prayed for them and they were blessed with the most beautiful baby girl I've ever seen, Preslee Bell Turner, who is now 10 months old.

I'm saying all of this because Matt, Julee's husband was killed in a car accident last night in Arkansas. The second I read the news today I felt sick and have prayed for this sweet family all day. You can visit her blog here http://mattandjuleeturner.blogspot.com/.

Matt was a news anchor for KNWA before they moved from Fayetteville to Little Rock to work for KTHV and to be closer to both of their families. You can read a brief story here http://www.fayettevilleflyer.com/2012/10/07/former-knwa-anchor-matt-turner-dies-in-one-vehicle-accident/

I've been so upset all afternoon for this family. Please cover them in prayer during this incredibly difficult time. Hug your children and spouses extra hard tonight. Life is too short and way too fragile. May God bless the Tuner and Bell families during this time.
