Have you seen this movie? If not, do me a favor and go rent it tomorrow night (Friday) and watch it, especially if you have children. What an incredible, incredible movie. Seriously. Watching this trailer again gave me goosebumps. Then let me know what you think. Pack your Kleenexes, you'll need them.
I will not give away any story line, but it's hard to explain how part of me changed after watching this movie. Kody and I both loved it so much. I am going to buy it so we can watch it often as a reminder what we are here to do (or at least some day do-parent). We watch Fireproof a lot, it's always a good reminder to be obedient to God and our marriage.
This movie changed me though. Much like the main character said, I do not want to be a good enough parent, I want to be a phenomenal parent. And you should too if you have children!
I love these movies. The acting in this is better than Fireproof and Facing the Giants, although it's some of the same people. They're getting better and not quite as cheesy.
Really though, this is a good, family movie. Let me know what you think!
PS--the soundtrack is also really good!

I have been wanting to see this! Goosebumps!
I have debated going to see this--I've heard that it's really impactful for the men in our lives to watch. We haven't seen it yet, but I think we need to add it! :)
Isaac and I just went and rented it and I sobbed like a little baby! It is my new favorite movie... soooo powerful!
The same company did Flywheel, with the same lead actor. I think it was the first one, so the acting/production quality is pretty bad, but the story shines through.
BEST movie EVER. I LOVED it and bought it for Allen to let him watch it when he can. It's a tear jerker, and the goosebumps part that you wrote about was right on for me, too.
