What Christmas Really Means to Me…

Hurry here and hurry there, eat this and eat that….that is what Christmas seems to be construed as these days. I don’t like to be rushed, therefore I don’t like that. ;) It’s not about the gifts and how much you got, it’s about family and friends!

In a perfect world Christmas would be a joyous week of days leading up to the one and only, our Savior’s birthday. Instead it’s a crazy week where I barely have time to blink. We did our best to enjoy the holiday this year. We had a great one and I promise to blog later tonight with PICTURES. I will share a couple from the Sunday before Christmas at our church. I love, love, love our church at Christmas (really anytime of the year…) but at Christmas it just seems magical. I love the Christmas Eve service and how there are always tons of people in town for the holiday and the pews are bursting at the seems and we sing Silent Night by candlelight. I love that. This year we missed it, but that’s ok we had a great time in Jackson. I just can’t wait to have our own traditions someday and Christmas Eve service will definitely be one of them. We didn’t go this year :( and I could have but chose to stay with Kody and some other family that was in town. I love how our church is decorated in red, white, and gold. So pretty this time of year!

We spent our Christmas with family and had a great time. We were able to see all of Kody’s family and most of mine so it made for the perfect holiday. I felt like I had to come back to work to rest! We are so blessed to have two incredible, loving families. Can’t wait to share our Christmas posts tonight!

I feel like such a huge slacker since I didn’t get up our Christmas home tour, Christmas card, etc. I will do it all tonight. So bare with my burden of 15 posts in one night. I was spending time with KT since our time together had been scarce! So there was no time for blogging!

I hope y’all had a very, Merry Christmas spent with those you love most and also worshiping Christ, our Savoir who was born on that sweet day!
