Seriously y’all, who doesn’t LOVE fall? I am obsessed with this time of year. I think of our wedding and the leaves being so gorgeous! Such happy times and in less than 20 days we will have been married for 2 years!
I’ve had a busy week, but nothing I can’t handle. Monday I was extremely exhausted, no clue why. I felt like crap all day and was just so tired. I went home a little early to see Kody off before his class and then I took a long, hot bath. I love my baths! I watched tv the rest of the night and just kind of laid on the couch in a daze.
Tuesday was much better despite the fact I had to be at work by 6:30…yes it was still dark then.
My boss, the City Administrator planned a breakfast for industries in town. The head of the chamber and I met there so the caterer could set up before 7. It was a really good idea for them all to meet and it was a great meeting, lots of discussion. A good breakfast too! I am a morning person when I have enough rest so I was fine all day Tuesday. It all hit me early Tuesday night and I was in bed by 9. I never can stay up late on Biggest Loser nights!
This week and the many days before have been rain free (which I love) and just gorgeous out! Yesterday afternoon Melanie and I at work needed to go out and take more pictures for our boss. He let us take his car………………oh how things have changed (for the better)! lol! We just laughed and said our old boss would have NEVER offered his car. We enjoyed being out and taking pictures of different employees at different city buildings. We grilled filets last night and they were great, but not as great as the strip steaks we had tonight. Talk about divine! I love living with a “chef.”
Speaking of my chef husband he has now moved into the loan department! He had been a teller the last 3 months and has already moved to loan processing. He will train there for quite awhile and then will move on to the loan officer position. I’m so proud of him! He was going to be a teller for 6 months, so he cut that in half!! He LOVES his new life, I’m so thankful.
Today was busy with the chamber luncheon and work. We’re finishing up Biggest Loser now, I know we are the most exciting people ever. In fact, most of you probably won’t finish this post. Just catching up for my own memory.
Here are some things I’m loving on Thursday, didn’t get to What I’m Loving Wednesday….
I’m loving that most nights after dinner we sit at the table for 20 minutes or more to just talk and laugh. We don’t spend a lot of time talking at night because of TV, laundry, chores, etc. But that is our time. I’m so thankful for that and it’s good for my soul!
I’m LOVING that my husband emails now. We email back and forth all day just to keep in touch. It’s fun and a whole different situation than before. Used to he would barely answer his texts in the day. So I just didn’t text! They are usually sentence emails but hilarious most days.
I’m loving that this week is HOMECOMING week in West Plains. We’ll be heading to the game tomorrow night (probably to watch them lose since they haven’t won yet.) and I’m going to the parade tomorrow. I love, love, love Homecoming. It was always my favorite day of the year when I was in school. Such a FUN time!
I’m loving the fact I’m getting a haircut tomorrow, my hair has grown so fast!
That’s all for now! Sorry there aren’t any pictures!
