Too fast weekend…

Here it is already Monday afternoon. I am still sad the weekend is over, it went by way too fast. We had company (Kyle, Erica, and Drew) here Friday night through yesterday morning. By the time they arrived Friday night we only had time for pizza and a bath for Drew. It took them longer than expected to get here due to the unexpected snow we were receiving. We were forecasted for some, but not the 5 inches we got!! The guys stayed up late visiting, making Kody’s 6 a.m. wake-up call for work hard to handle!

Kody worked all Saturday and Kyle, Erica, Drew, and I went around town and then met Kody and my mom for lunch. Afterwards we went home and Drew and the rest of us napped for a couple of hours. Before lunch we went by to see Kody at work, or Ko-Ko as Drew calls him. Drew had fun going from big truck to big truck….You will notice, Drew is not into having his picture taken for anything these days. BOOGER.

Drew isn’t into TV at home, but loved his Elmo DVD when we were in the car. It kept him occupied so I was sure to turn it on each time we got in there. He would do the Pokey-Pokey (Hokey-Pokey) with the video in his car seat. Too cute.

Kody and Kyle worked on trim in our basement after Kody got off work Saturday afternoon. We all went to Colton’s for dinner where Drew crawled under the table from our side to theirs about 239487293487239843 times. What ended it? He finally bumped his head and cried! He was being a wild man and I told him he was a nerd. He must hear it often because he was going around saying “I’M A NERD”….I laughed so hard!

Yesterday we went to breakfast and then they hit the road. Kody and I missed church, but made it to the church meeting that took place of Sunday School. We went over goals for 2011 and introduced committee members. We had lunch with a group from Sunday School to celebrate Amy’s birthday. It was a fun time! I napped off and on the rest of the day and then we got ready for the Super Bowl party. We went over to the Skeeters’ house. There were 12 adults and 9 kids…they almost outnumbered us! They had a good time though and I was glad to see the Packers win! The girls enjoyed playing dress up and acting like they were sleeping in the guest room. :)Picture 2281 Picture 2282 Picture 2274 Picture 2277 Picture 2278 Picture 2280

We ate great food and enjoyed the evening! I’m  tired today….it’s been one of those trying days. I’ll be glad to get home and have some dinner, take a bath and read, and watch the Bachelor.
